5700G high idle temps. I have an Antec ISK110 case with an ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac, and a Ryzen 5700G, cooled by a Thermalright AXP90/r with Noctua 14mm slim fan on it. My idle temps are higher than I anticipated. I keep the house at 74F, which is about 23C. Upgraded from a 3600X. I'm concerned about the temperature of the 5700X. Using a Corsair H60 Aio for cooling, kept my 3600X at around 60C even under heavier loads. Now the 5700X doesn't exceed 60C on Cinebench r20 or Prime95 but after testing some games on high refresh rates (Dying Light 1 on 120FPS / DOOM Eternal on 165FPS) temps go up to 75C ...The increased temperature difference increases heat transfer rate. With an increased heat transfer rate the cooler is more efficient.
